Munters has entered into an agreement to acquire Turbovent; one of Northern Europe's leading agricultural ventilation system provider
Munters has entered into an agreement to acquire Danish Turbovent Agro A/S and Turbovent Environment A/S. The company holds a leading position in Northern Europe for ventilation and air cleaning solutions for farming, complementing Munters AgHort product range.
Located in Aars, Denmark, Turbovent primary manufactures ventilation equipment for poultry, swine and dairy farms in Scandinavia, Germany and Eastern Europe. Turbovent is also in the forefront of air cleaning and odor removal solutions for the agricultural industry. The company employs approximately 45 people, and has trailing 12 month revenue of DKK 69 Million. With this acquisition, Munters strengthens its position as one of the leading supplier of climate control solutions for the Agricultural and Horticultural industries.

In addition to its strong position in ventilation systems, Turbovent has developed a product range, which is targeted at reducing odor, ammonia and dust emissions from farming.
